Alexander Baumgaertner

Alexander Baumgaertner has been with Baring Ventures since 2015. Alex initially worked on sourcing, investing in and monitoring Natural Resources and Infrastructure investments before transitioning to oversee the finance and operations functions in 2020.

 

Alex currently advises Baring Ventures on financial, HR, tax and operational matters as well as transaction structuring and execution. Prior to joining Baring Ventures, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt and Moscow.

He holds a business degree from the Catholic University Eichstaett-Ingolstadt.
