David Bernstein

David Bernstein has been with Baring Ventures since 2003, David is responsible for Investor Relations, Fundraising, Fund Governance, and ESG. In these roles, David has been actively involved in the firm’s investment process and its strategic development for more than 20 years.

From  1998 through 2001, he was employed as a Senior Program Associate at Business for Social Responsibility in San Francisco, where he worked with US multinational companies on labour, environment and community development issues.

David has a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Columbia University and a Master’s Degree in International Relations and Economics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
